What is the Process of Big Valley Auto Auction’s Title Services?
The process our title services go through are as follows:
Step 1: The dealer requests the document they need.
Step 2: We give dealers a time frame on how long it will take to receive their document. The time frame usually depends on the type of document. For example, an affidavit can be done within 5 minutes. However, documents like a release of lien, power of attorney, or affidavit for a dealer not registered with us can take a few weeks to obtain.
Duplicate titles are usually requested by the sellers. We go based on their time frame, which could last from 1 week to 6 weeks.
Bonded titles require a scheduled inspection by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. You must also pay the bond company for the bond itself.
Step 3: The dealer receives the document.
