When you go to a grocery store you’ve never been to before, you might ask an employee where you can find certain items. The employee will point you to the aisle it’s in or walk you directly to its exact location. This is similar to locating a vehicle on Big Valley Auto Auction’s lot.

Although we’re not a grocery store, Big Valley Auto Auction is a dealer-only auto auction, with almost 20 years of helping registered dealers buy and sell vehicles. But before the buying and selling process, dealers will have to know where the vehicles on their run list are located.

In this article, you’re going to learn where vehicles are located on our lot, how many lanes our lot consists of, in what order vehicles are parked, and how you can locate your vehicle.

After reading this article, you’ll have the information needed to easily locate the vehicle you're looking for at your next Big Valley Auto Auction visit.

How Can I Locate My Vehicle on the Lot?

Big Valley Auto Auction’s lot crew will show you where the vehicle is located. They can point you in the direction, guide you to its spot, or bring it to you if you have difficulty walking.

Where Are the Vehicles Located?

Vehicles are located in their designated lanes on our lot. For example, vehicle A34 will be in A Lane, while IN-OP vehicles are in the IN-OP lane.

How Many Lanes are On the Lot?

Big Valley Auto Auction has 6 lanes:

  • A Lane
  • B Lane
  • C Lane
  • D Lane
  • E Lane
  • R Lane

What Order Are Vehicles Parked?

Our vehicles' parking spots depend on before and after the sale.

Before the sale: Vehicles are organized by their run number. For example, the staff park vehicles in A Lane, in order from A1 to A34.

After the sale: Vehicles are parked in their designated lane, but not in the same spot as before. For example, A34 can be found in A Lane, but might not be specifically in the A34 spot.
