Have you ever bought something from a vending machine? In the past, vending machines only accepted cash or coins. However, in 2017, vending machine manufacturers adjusted a growing number of machines to accept credit cards as payment. This is similar to auto auctions adjusting their business layout to accept different payment types.
Since 2008, Big Valley Auto Auction has helped dealers complete their purchases by using their preferred payment method. From cash to flooring companies, we’ve adjusted our payment methods as times evolved.
In this article, you’re going to learn which forms of payment are accepted at Big Valley Auto Auction.
Just like vending machines, auto auctions have adjusted the forms of payment accepted. Big Valley Auto Auction accepts 8 forms of payment:
Business checks are held until a valid, transferable title is received. When purchasing multiple vehicles, it is advised that you submit a check for each purchase. If you provide one large check, the entire check amount will be deposited when the first title is received by the auction.
Personal checks are not accepted.
Big Valley Auto Auction also accepts 10 different flooring companies:
If the flooring company you work with is not listed, you can still work with us. The buyer may send in a company check, cashier’s check, submit an ACH, wire transaction, or use a different flooring company. Some flooring companies pay for the vehicle at the time of purchase, while others wait until the auction receives the title. Be sure to check with your flooring company to clarify policies.
Just as vending machines adapted from accepting strictly cash to card, and even Apple Pay, Big Valley Auto Auction has adapted to accept cash, cashier’s check, business check, credit card, and flooring companies.
