What Do Mexico Dealers Need In Order to Buy from Big Valley Auto Auction?
If you are a dealer from Mexico, there are 6 things you’ll need in order to buy vehicles from Big Valley Auto Auction.
Hacienda
A Hacienda is an RFC, which is a dealer's license from Mexico. However, it must state that the purpose of the RFC is to buy automobiles for export.
Below is an example of what an RFC looks like.
Form of Identification
Big Valley Auto Auction requires you to have 1 of the following 3 forms of identification:
- Passport
- Mexico voter registration card
- Driver’s license
AuctionACCESS Account
All dealers, regardless of where their dealership is located, need an AuctionACCESS account. There is no registration charge for business accounts, but there is an annual charge of $103.00 for individuals. However, AuctionACCESS does not allow visas as a form of identification when registering.
Big Valley Auto Auction Account
In order to attend a Big Valley Auto Auction event, you must be registered with us. We also require all dealers to have an AuctionACCESS membership, which you can apply for at our location.
$1,000 Cash Deposit
Since dealers from Mexico don’t have a bond, Big Valley Auto Auction requires a $1,000 cash deposit on auction day. This deposit is $1,000 per representative and must be paid before the bidder badge is issued. If there are 2 representatives from your dealership, both must pay $1,000 each. We use this deposit as an insurance policy and you will receive your deposit back only after your account gets cleared by a front desk clerk.
However, both representatives’ accounts must be cleared. If one representative doesn’t buy a vehicle but the other does, Big Valley Auto Auction will hold the deposit until all sales on your account have been finalized or cleared.
If the vehicle you bid on is on-call, you won’t receive the money until the sale is final. If you decide to leave before the auction ends and didn’t buy, all representatives must return their bidder badges in order to receive their deposits.
Proper Form of Payment
If you buy a vehicle from Big Valley Auto Auction, you can use the following forms of payment to finalize your purchase:
- Cash
- Wire transfer from a bank
