Do you remember the first time you invited a date to your place? More than likely, you cleaned up as much as you could, so your date wouldn’t think you lived a messy life. This is similar to Big Valley Auto Auction registered dealers requesting a premium detail for their inventory.

When your teeth begin to lose their white color, you brush them and use mouthwash to clean and restore them. This is similar to restoring your vehicle’s headlights.

When someone gets a tattoo they regret (like their ex’s name), that person will get the tattoo removed. Once their tattoo is gone, that area of skin is clean and uncovered. This is similar to de-identifying your vehicle.

In 1929, the Great Depression severely shocked the United States’ stock market in the worst way possible. 9 years later, in 1938, livestock auctioneers in the American South began importing a few used cars from the North to sell with cattle and farming equipment. J.M. "Martin” Rawls held the first auction, and 10 years later, the National Auto Auction Protection Association (now the NAAA) became the voice of the industry. 70 years later, Big Valley Auto Auction entered the auto auction industry.

Do you remember buying your first car? If you do, what factors played a role in deciding which was best for you? Number of miles? Model? Year? Or maybe you were just looking for whatever could get you from point A to point B. The same consideration you put into buying your first car is the same that goes into auto dealers deciding what auto auction is best for them.

Have you ever gone on a date with someone you really liked? If you’re like me, the main priority is taking a shower before the date. I’ll apply tons of body wash, shampoo, then deodorant, and finish off with cologne. The reason for this is because I want to look (and smell) as clean as possible. That same type of care can be used on your car, as well.

Have you ever gone shopping and seen a large amount of clothes in the Clearance rack? Those clothes are there because they didn’t sell within a specific time period. For example, you’ll find beach shorts and tank tops in the Clearance rack when Fall and Winter come around. They’ll be sold for a cheaper price because stores just need to get rid of them. But if those clothes don’t sell, they’ll be donated to thrift stores or sent back to a warehouse. The same goes for Weekly inventory and Buy Now inventory.

Have you ever gone to a concert? If you paid for a general admission ticket, you’d be able to enter and watch the show as a regular customer. However, if you paid for the VIP package, you would get front row seats, backstage passes, and a meet-and-greet with the artist. This is a similar situation with public auto auctions and dealer-only auto auctions.
